Ener-G Foods Gluten Free Cinnamon Crackers

Another review for those of you who have some allergies! Ener G is a trusted brand that makes tons of products, ranging from cookies, crackers,  breads, pizza doughs! “Our mission at Ener-G Foods, as one of the foremost producers of foods for diet-restricted individuals, is to provide a wide range of ready-made foods and mixes that are wholesome, nutritious, delicious, and risk free. We are constantly responding to the demand for special diets with research, innovative products and convenience foods.”

Well, i decided to give Ener-G a shot. I tried the Cinnamon Crackers, (i just love cinnamon or cinnamon sugar flavored things!) which are gluten, wheat, dairy and yeast free, and are also low in protein (some individuals follow a low protein diet). They were very good. They are a little bigger than a wheat thin, with a crispier and crunchier texture. They were bumpy/textured on one side, smooth on the other. On the “bumpy” side, was a sprinkling of sweet cinnamon and sugar, just the perfect amount. Not too sweet and not overpowering. They kind of reminded me of cinnamon raisin bread in a crunchy cracker form. Yum! Very addicting!

I had these by themself, with a cup of milk, and also with a wedge of laughing cow cheese spread on (so good!). I really enjoyed these and will be buying more online on the Ener-G site when I run out (which will be soon…unfortunately 🙁 ). I give these 4 stars 🙂 I can’t wait to try more of Ener-G’s products! I really want to try the brownie and cookie products! Yum!

10 crackers is 70 calories (whoop!), 5 grams of fat, 12 carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber (gotta love that fiber!), only 3 grams of sugar and 0 grams of protein. I’d say those are pretty good stats 🙂

Filtered water, Hi Maize Corn Starch, High Oleic Safflower Oil, Organic Tapioca Syrup, Yellow Corn Flour, Xanthan Gum, Methylcellulose, Evaporated Cane Juice Sugar, Cinnamon Powder, Salt.
