Chobani 0% Black Cherry Greek Yogurt

I could tell from the first taste of this yogurt, the skim of the top, not even the fruity part on the bottom, that I was going to like it. I stuck it in the freezer for 20 minutes or so, the way I eat the majority of my yogurts, and gave it a taste. Mmm.

It was a pale white-ish color on top, with a rich, purpley color on the bottom. There was a good amount of fruit, and actual slightly chewy cherry pieces on the bottom as well. This one was absolutely delicious. It was both tart and sweet at the same time, and really hit my craving for something satisfying and not sugary tasting. It was actually a bit more tart than I thought it would be! I think I even made the “woah! that’s TART face a few times”, but it’s not so tart where it’s unenjoyable, and it had a really great black cherry flavor.

Overall, I would eat this again! My favorites still stand to be the Pineapple and Strawberry-Banana flavors, but this one is really close! Smooth, satisfying and just delicious. 4 1/2 stars

  1. Ooh I haven’t tried this yet and I can’t wait because I love black cherry anything – and I like it tart … so tart that you have to make that “ooh this is sou-ahhh” face :-0

  2. I was pretty cool toward Greek yogurt in the beginning. I picked up a huge pack from Costco for my daughter and tried one but was not impressed.

A few weeks ago, I bought a Chobani Black Cherry, stirred it completely mixing in the fruit and I was hooked. Seriously, it’s hard to go a day without it.

I venture out now and then trying a new flavor, but so far, it’s the Black Cherry hands down for me.
