Clif Crunch Peanut Butter & White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Granola Bar GIVEAWAY!!!!

You know I love my fans. And I know you guys love free stuff. So how else to celebrate the two but than with a GIVEAWAY!?!

I went to the store and found something that I ADORE, and would seriously eat everyday if given the opportunity. Presenting, the Clif Crunch Peanut Butter & White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Granola Bars. You can see my review of them here, but lets just say the Peanut Butter one tastes like Nutter Butter cookies (YES!!) and the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut one is amazing as well. Especially when the little white chocolate chips are slightly melted. But I’m just saying.

Musselman’s Apple Butter & Apple Cider review and GIVEAWAY!!!!

Yes! It’s that time again- A GIVEAWAY!!! But first, a review of some tasty products!

Musselman’s Apple Butter-

Oh my goodness. This stuff is TOTALLY AWESOME! It was thick, brown and smooth, and had a great apple flavor. It was sweet, sweet like candy, and absolutely delicious. The cinnamon flavor was perfect, and I can’t even describe how tasty this was. I could totally (and did totally) eat it right out of the jar with a spoon. I can’t wait to stir it into hot oatmeal :)

This one gets 4 1/2 stars. Although it deserves 5 stars for flavor, and it is one of the most delicious products I have ever had, it  has both added sugar and High Fructose Corn Syrup : ( But, it’s still really awesome, so it gets 4 1/2 stars from me! : )

Musselman’s Apple Cider-

First things first, the person I was with said for me to shake this up, and I advise you to do the same. It was a bit piecy at the bottom, but nothing a little shake of the bottle couldn’t fix. First I tried it cold, and it was sort of like a watered down apple juice. Sweet but didn’t have that apple-y kick I’m used to with apple juice. So, the person who told me to shake it, also advised me to have it warm.

Great idea! This was much better warm than cold. It was sweeter, and had a very pure apple flavor,sort of like squeezing the juice right from the apple flesh. Mmm. 3 1/2 stars

Now…. the GIVEAWAY!

I was given  the Apple Butter and Apple Cider by Musselman’s for free to do a review(how could I refuse!? I love apples!), and was given an extra Apple Butter and Apple Cider. So, what better way to spread the love then to host a giveaway!?!

Sahale Snacks Review and GIVEAWAY!!!

Oh it’s that time again- review and giveaway!!!

Valdosta Pecans- these ROCK. Seriously, so yummy. Rich, buttery pecans, that are slightly spicy, slightly salty, and have an almost sweet glaze (very light) on them. They accented with dried cranberries, about the size of a pea, that weren’t too tangy. The little bit of heat, which I would assume is from the “black pepper” listed on the front. Really great combination- salty, sweet, and spicy! Really tasty, and SATISFYING too!- I could totally eat the whole bag! 4 1/2 stars



Sing Buri Cashews- wow, what FLAVOR! There are little pieces of pineapple that taste fantastic- sweet, NOT tangy at all, and great flavor. Then, there’s a spiciness, and a sesame seed flavor which counteracts the sweetness. There are cashews mostly,but also some peanuts, that have a spicy/salty flavor to them, almost like red pepper or a hot tomato flavor. Another great salty/spicy/sweet combination- but this one has a bit more heat. DEELISH! 4 stars

I got an e-mail from Ms. Fortune from Sahale Snacks, saying that they are now available at Seattle’s Best Coffee. It stated in the e-mail…

Zevia All Natural Diet Soda review and GIVEAWAY!

Although I have already done a review of Zevia soda in the past, I’m doing another. And guess what? A GIVEAWAY TOO!

For those of you who never heard of Zevia, here’s some info about it from the website “ZEVIA is the first all natural zero calorie soda. With only pure ingredients, ZEVIA contains none of the chemically processed artificial sugar substitutes, artificial flavors or artificial colors found in other diet sodas. ZEVIA is all-natural, has zero calories, zero net carbs, zero fat, and little or no sodium (depending on flavor).”

Zevia was even mentioned in the September issue of O magazine!

Well? Let’s get started! =)

I opened up the Ginger Root Beer first. Ah, a crisp, good flavor. Can definitely taste some of the ginger. It wasn’t super sweet, but rather just the right amount. I also loved that there was no caffeine in this flavor! 4 stars

Next up, Lemon Lime Twist. So refreshing! Also, not too sweet, but just the right amount. Also a really good blend of both lemon and lime flavors. Perfect to drink on a sunny, warm day! 4 stars

Next, Cola. This one was a bit sweeter, and not as carbonated/bubbly as the other flavors. It had sort of a cola syrupy taste to it, but was enjoyable. Went perfect with my dinner of pizza & steamed broccoli! 4 stars

Moving on to Orange- This one had a delicate yet tasty flavor. It was mildly sweet, with a tiny bit of zest to it. Yummy orange flavor! 4 stars

Next up, Dr. Zevia. Yum! I really liked this one. A good about of sweetness, and light cherry flavor. There was just a little bit of a zing or spice to it as well. It wasn’t super carbonated/bubbly, which I liked, and was quite tasty. This one gets 4 1/2 stars

Black Cherry- my other favorite, this one had a good amount of sweetness, was bubbly, and I could certainly detect a black cherry flavor. Refreshing! 4 1/2 stars

Uncle Sam Original Cereal Review & Giveaway!

Oh, yes. It’s time for another GIVEAWAY! (but first a review!)

I was sent a free box of Uncle Sam Cereal Original to try, and must say it’s not quite like other cereals I have eaten in the past. First, according to the box, this cereal has
“-10g fiber
- Omega-3 Fatty Acids from Flaxseed
-Less than 1g sugar” .

That’s some pretty impressive stuff right there. 3/4 of a cup, TEN grams of fiber? WOW!

So I opened up my box and saw a bunch of brown pieces of cereals, and brown flax seeds. The cereal pieces were small, and sort of looked like brown crispy rice. I tasted a handful, and, they sort of tasted like that too! It really reminded me of brown crispy rice cereal, but much harder and cunchier. I certainly agree with the front of the box’s description of “Toasted Whole-Wheat Flakes”, because it had a wonderful toasted taste! I actually, to be honest, did not expect to like this as much as I did. Normally I prefer sweeter cereals, and while this cereal was not too sweet, it definitely still had quite a bit of flavor! I also really enjoyed the crunchiness and the all natural ingredients- 4 stars!

1 serving (3/4 cup) of cereal is 190 calories, 5 grams of fat, 38 grams of carbohydrates, 10 grams of fiber, less than 1 gram of sugar, and 7 grams of protein.
