Little Ouchies… what is THAT?
Per their website,
Little Ouchies are self regulation tools – they are designed to help you manage anxiety , urge based behaviors (skin picking for example) or help you manage sensory overload in a gentle, body safe way.

The Founder’s name is Craig – per the website when his wife was diagnosed with autism, he noticed during stressful moments, she often turned to things such as pressing, scratching, or picking at her skin and there was nothing on the market to give her the kind of relief she actually needed, which prompted him to create Little Ouchies!
The company sent me the Spikie ( as above) and the Grippie ring .

You are advised to use them by
1- pressing them into an area such as your thigh, arm or chest
2- squeeze them with rhythm to help reduce stress
3- Roll them in your hands or across your arms, legs and back.
They are certainly what they say they are – they hurt – but only a little!
I can see It helpful during stress because It totally re-orients my brain. If I am thinking of something and squeeze the little Ouchie, It kind of stops the circuit of the thought and distracts to the pain. It’s not painful enough to cause harm I don’t think- but It certainly is a bit sharp and enough to cause distraction!
I did not like the ring as much as the Spikie however I think the ring is good for discrete distraction.
Overall, a great find and certainly worth giving a try if you or someone you know struggles with the above!
Disclaimer: I received this to try for free from the company, this is an unbiased review.
