Tumeric – that well known, vibrant orange spice. I think most people can identify It by color and know It for it’s anti inflammatory properties.
TUMERI is a company with products that are based in, well, turmeric! Per the website, the founder’s father suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis which let him to do botanical research and discover the benefits of turmeric. Per the website, “Our products harness the ancient, proven benefits of turmeric to address skin concerns at the root, delivering clear, radiant, and youthful skin”.
The company sent me a moisturizer and bar soap to try.
The Kojic Acid Soap is meant to help hyperpigmentation, dark spots and help with brightening. I used It mostly on my arms from acne scars. I had no irritation whatsoever from It, and my skin is very sensitive. It lacked a lather that you may be used to with other bar soap. I did find It a bit drying . My husband used It as well and reported feeling clean without any side effects.
Tumeric Moisturizer
This contains colloidal oatmeal, ceramics and shea butter and is intended to be used twice daily
It feels a bit heavy and a little greasy upon application but left skin feeling relatively soft and moisturized. I noticed a bit more dewiness to cheek area hours after application

Overall, I like the products and love the story behind them. I noticed no irritation with the products which was great. I have relatively sensitive skin so I love being able to add products to my queue that don’t cause me to be irritated! I did not notice huge difference in hyperpigmentation but perhaps longer periods of use would do so.
